As an author who has invested a tremendous amount of energy and time into a manuscript, it is all but impossible to see it objectively.

For this reason, we have worked with corporate partner Phenix & Phenix Literary Publicists to develop a book submission process, which allows authors the opportunity to get professional, unbiased feedback on their manuscripts and potential for media coverage.

This also allows our firm the opportunity to become familiar with an author's goals and message to decide whether or not we are the right fit for the project.

Once you submit your manuscript and author biography for consideration, our client development department will contact you to learn more about your goals—both for the book and as an author—your message and your media experience. Together with the manuscript and bio, the information gathered in this initial consultation will give the Phenix & Phenix team enough information to assess the project's potential for media coverage.

This is not a book review. P&P's assessment is based on several factors, including writing style and quality of content, the author's credentials and the relevance of the topic in current news cycles.

Upon reviewing the submitted materials, the Phenix & Phenix team will offer constructive feedback and recommend the next step. If they see sufficient media potential, a specific publishing imprint and publicity campaign length will be recommended to the author in the form of a formal proposal. If there is not enough media potential to warrant a professional media campaign on this level, we will provide constructive feedback and suggested improvements.
