The key to self publishing books is distribution. You might have written and published a book that will change a reader's life, but that won't make a difference if nobody can purchase it. Distribution helps to make your book available to readers. For each of our imprints, BookPros has partnerships with Ingram Book Group, one of the leading wholesale distributors of books worldwide. For self publishing books through our Synergy Books imprint we have distribution through Baker & Taylor as well as a MidPoint Trade Books, which focuses on direct distribution for small publishers.

Ingram Book Group and Baker & Taylor both make books available to online retailers, such as Amazon.com and BarnesAndNoble.com, and in brick and mortar stores for special orders. These two wholesalers, along with BookPros, make self publishing books a feasible enterprise.

Our partnership with MidPoint allows authors self publishing books through Synergy Books to see their books sold in bookstores. MidPoint works as a liaison between publishers and wholesalers as well as publishers and retailers. They employ a sales team that actively pitches your book to retailers and wholesalers.

BookPros' publishing department also provides bi-monthly publicity updates to sales reps at MidPoint. A publicity update lists all the media bookings our books have achieved through our publicity source, Phenix & Phenix Literary Publicists, as well as any upcoming book events the author has scheduled to promote the book. These help MidPoint let wholesalers and bookstore buyers know about upcoming consumer demand. For example, if an author will be appearing in a major news outlet such as the Dallas Morning News, MidPoint can use that information to influence the amount of books available in the Dallas area around the time of the article, interview or book review.
